Don your finest cloak and dust off your wands because a Harry Potter-inspired pop-up cafe has recently opened up in the city!
Steamy Hallows opened its doors to the wizarding world of NYC at 308 East Sixth Street, providing the East Village with a “witchy goth coffee shop [that] serves up delicious coffee and tea potions and homemade cookies in an immersive environment” that’s inspired by Harry Potter and Halloween.
And this ticket will get you:
- 1 Drink from the Hot Potion Bar
- 1 Steamy Hallows gingerbread cookie
- Professional photo booth with on site photographer
Plus, for just $2 extra, you can add booze to your drink!
The menu itself is also enchanting, with creations like Firenog, Witches Brew and the one and only: Butter Brew!
The famous Butter Brew at Steamy Hallows is a rich combination of butterscotch, vanilla, and espresso, and is particularly unique because it incorporates edible glitter—a picturesque addition they’ve included to top off a few of their elixirs.
The owner of Steamy Hallows, Zach Neil, is also behind successful themed concepts across NYC like the Will Ferrell inspired bar “Stay Classy” and the popular Tim Burton inspired bar “Beetle House.” Like some of the other concept, Steamy Hallows is a temporary pop-up so you’ll want to check them out soon.
Stay up to date with their hours on Instagram — they’ll be open this weekend & next Friday-Sunday from 4-9 p.m.
