Once you arrive at 12 St. Marks Place, you’ll make your way through the long hallway, past the black curtains and into the classic brick wall speakeasy comedy club. St. Mark’s Comedy Club not only spotlights the best up-and-coming comedians, but also features national headliners including Mark Normand (Netflix, Comedy Central) and Roy Woods Jr. (The Daily Show).
The Colombian-American owned comedy club was founded by comedians and restaurateurs, Alex Carabaño (BET, HBOmax) and his brother Danny. The Brooklyn brothers are vegan chefs by day, and even offer up some of their Latin-inspired menu items at St. Mark’s Comedy Club — rendering it the only plant-based comedy spot in the country!
St. Mark’s Comedy Club is open Tuesdays through Sundays from 7pm to 11pm, providing plenty of opportunities for a mid-week outing or weekend activity. The comfortable venue offers table service for a wide selection of drinks from a fully-stocked bar, as well as an array of vegan-friendly appetizers. Tickets start at $15 and the venue requires a two-drink minimum for each ticket purchase.
