Inspired by authentic NASA missions, Space Explorers: The ISS Experience takes visitors on a journey beyond our planet. Deemed the world’s “largest immersive space experience,” it uses footage by real astronauts and advanced spatial design to recreate the International Space Station in great detail.
As you slip on your headset, your relationship with the universe takes on new shape. You’ll learn from astronauts’ daily lives, see enchanting views of Earth from orbit, experience the sensation of being in outer space without ever leaving the ground… It’s an adventure that won’t leave you the same.
That overwhelming feeling astronauts get as they see Earth from space? It’s called the “overview effect,” and it’s exactly what Space Explorers: The ISS Experience promises to evoke. Space Explorers: The ISS Experience is inspired by the series of the same name. Created and produced by Felix & Paul Studios in association with TIME Studios and in collaboration with various space agencies (including the U.S. International Space Station & NASA), it is the world’s biggest media project ever filmed in space.
Now, it takes on the shape of a free roaming VR experience, co-created by PHIStudio and Felix & Paul Studios. The adventure takes off at 555 West 57th Street, and tickets are now on sale.
