One of the best music venues in NYC is located in the Theater District just steps from Times Square. Sony Hall is a multi-genre live music venue where both locals and visitors can see their favorite acts, catch sensational tributes and party on the weekend, all set in the basement of the Paramount Hotel.
And this year, Candlelight illuminates Sony Hall, bringing unrivaled concerts for every music lover. This season, you can catch classical tributes to beloved carols and reggaeton star Bad Bunny.
Background on Sony Hall
Back in the day, the venue was known as the Diamond Horseshoe, a popular nightclub during the vaudeville era where New Yorkers could catch live bands and burlesque shows, dance all night and even dine. Located in the basement of the Paramount Hotel, both the space and the entire building boast eye-catching Art Deco and Baroque details, which earned it the architectural recognition as a New York City landmark in 2009.
Today, it is owned and operated by Blue Note Entertainment Group and although the acoustics have been enhanced by Sony technology, it still maintains its original design that radiates glamor and decadence.
