Imagine finding yourself in Times Square (we know, not exactly a typical New Yorker day out, but stick with us here) and instead of a sea of yellow cabs, blaring horns, and hurried tourists, you’re surrounded by thousands of yogis. On Sunday, June 21, that exact scene becomes reality as the Crossroads of the World shuts down for Solstice in Times Square 2026.
From 45th to 48th Street on 7th Avenue, the usual soundtrack of gridlock will be replaced by deep breaths and collective hums of “namaste” for the 24th annual “Mind Over Madness Yoga” festival celebrating the start of summer.
👀 What to Expect at Solstice in Times Square
This June, The Times Square Alliance is inviting thousands of yogis to find calm within the chaos of life in New York City. Here’s what you’ll find across the multi-block stretch:
- The Yoga: Seven entirely free, hour-long yoga sessions led by world-class instructors spanning from sunrise to sunset (mats are provided!)
- The Yoga Village: Head between 47th and 48th Street to explore a wellness oasis packed with interactive booths, activities, and wellness experiences
- The Perks & Partners: Score samples, wellness swag, and experiences from this year’s massive lineup of festival partners, including Clean Simple Eats, Gaiam, HEYTEA, Gatorade, Lifeway Kefir, and RYZE Superfoods
