Sogno Toscano is bringing a slice of Italy to the corner of Perry Street in the West Village. The first-ever brick-and-mortar location offers an extensive menu of Italian recipes made from scratch, alongside an array of imported Italian wines and coffee.
The NYC location opened earlier last year and just recently started hosting blind wine tasting nights on Wednesdays.
Elevating their regular Wednesday wine tastings, Sogno Toscano invites guests to put their taste buds and wine knowledge to the test. Whether you’re a wine connoisseur or you simply enjoy glass every so often, all are welcome to join in the fun!
A careful selection of Italian wines are concealed and sampled as participants are tasked with blindly guessing the wines they’re sipping on. The challenge requires people to rely on their remaining senses like taste and smell to decipher each mystery wine.
Guests will receive a pen and paper to write down their predictions, and if they guess correctly they’ll receive a $50 credit to the store where one can purchase an assortment of Italian goods, ingredients, and of course, more wine!
Treat your tastebuds to Italian delicacies like truffle paninis and Burrata e Crudo after putting them to work, and escape to the heart of Italy in the middle of Manhattan. Did we mention the spot is also perfect for after work drinks and charcuterie?!
Keep an eye on their Instagram to learn when they will host their next blind wine tasting. Reservations are required so you’ll have to DM them your email to secure your spot.
