Smargasburg won’t be going away for the winter this year. Instead, it will become a year-round destination and move the food party indoors in both the Williamsburg and Fort Greene neighborhoods!
In Fort Greene, the market will open in a huge, 25,000-square-foot space over the winter weekends in the Atlantic Center mall. There will be roughly 25 food vendors including staples like the ramen burger, but will have plenty of new eateries too like Mutz and Izakaya! The space will also feature another 25 vendors from Brooklyn Flea along with a bocce court from Bocce USQ, a coffee bar, and a full bar.

The Atlantic Center market (625 Atlantic Ave) will open on Saturday, November 3 and will be open every weekend through March from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday.
As for the Williamsburg venue, it will be called The Night Market and take place on Fridays! Smorgasburg is teaming up with Vice Media and creating an experiential market in Vice’s Villain venue with food, music, and a variety of programming. There will be only 15 food vendors at this location (307 Kent Ave), but there will also be a full bar, art installations, and DJ’s playing music from 6 p.m. until ‘late.’ As of now, the confirmed DJs include Mira Fahrenheit, Susan Z. Anthony, Aquarium Drunkard, and Brunch Bounce. The Night Market will run from Friday, November 2 through December.
