Looking for a new spot to cool off for the remaining weeks of summer? You can be among the first non-hotel guests to experience the rooftop pool at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge with absolutely mind-blowing city views.
For years, access to this breathtaking pool was only available to hotel guests. However, for the first time ever, 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge has opened it up to the public with the launch of their Sky Swim Lounge.
The luxurious new offering features poolside tables facing unmatched views of the Manhattan skyline. We were fortunate enough to experience it first hand, and let’s just say there’s no better atmosphere to sip cocktails in the sun and fill up on seafood and Asian-inspired bites.
We especially loved their classic margarita and the dozen oysters! We came with a party of four and were able to order a few shareable plates that fed everyone happily. Not to mention, the staff was absolutely wonderful in helping you with anything you might need.
If you forgot your sunscreen, don’t fret or burn because they have a table of sunscreen up for grabs near the pool. Additionally, you can stay hydrated with the refreshing ice water infused with strawberries and lemon provided to all loungers.
It’s good to note that the Sky Swim Lounge is for 21+. The tables accommodate up to 12 guests each, so if you’re looking for activities to do with a large group, this is your new go-to! Table minimums start at $800 and can be reserved online. However, solo visitors or smaller groups are still able to make a reservation.
