It may be egg nog and mulled wine season, but no sweet holiday drink can truly replace a refreshing seasonal brew or glass of hard cider any time of year—particularly at this year’s Fruit and Grain Festival.
Kick off the holiday season—and kick back with a brew—by tasting New York’s best sips in a laid-back atmosphere at the Fruit and Grain: Unlimited Beer & Cider Festival. At the annual festival this Sunday, December 8, you can try out the best brewed and fermented concoctions from 60 local breweries, cideries and distilleries.
Some of the participating breweries include New York classics like Gun Hill Brewing Company, Five Boroughs Brewing and Mikkeller NYC, as well as more boutique breweries like Big Alice Brewing and LIC Beer Project. And there are breweries outside of NYC—like the influential Monkish Brewing Company from Los Angeles. As far as cider, there’s Angry Orchard, Orchard Hill Cider Mill, Descendant Cider and many more.
Besides just enjoying brews, there will also be a live DJ, Mario Kart on the big screen and cornhole to play! There will also be a food menu (for purchase) by celebrity Chef Laurent Tourondel and his team.
Each ticket comes with:
- A complimentary tasting glass
- 4 hours of unlimited pours from over 60 breweries, cideries, and distilleries
- A complimentary La Colombe Nitro Draft Latte
- Great music and fun games
- Delicious food options for purchase
And besides just having a fun time, you’ll also be giving back to a good cause. This year, a portion of ticket sales and ALL merchandise sales will benefit RAICES, a nonprofit agency that provides free and low-cost legal services to underserved immigrant children, families, and refugees.
