The nightlife scene is getting ready to get back to summer party mode, and a new player is entering the scene starting this Saturday.
Signal, a brand new East Williamsburg nightclub is throwing their name into the hat for one of the best clubs we’ve seen open in recent years.
The new venture is set to open its doors on Saturday, May 10th with a day-into-night party (3 pm – 4 am) featuring some of NYC’s hottest underground names including Steve O’Sullivan and Andrey Pushkarev b2b Eli Verveine.
Signal is the brainchild of Joshua Buhler, Leonard Fink, and Nick Spector of Golden Record NYC, and aims to take a new approach to how nightclubs should look, sound, and feel.
Expect a floating wood floor beneath skylights and several features along its walls and ceiling to isolate and amplify sound, plus an outdoor garden and a bar that boasts natural wines, specialty cocktails, beers and zero-proof drinks.
With a food and beverage program led by chef Josh Cohen and beverage director Sean Struss, it elevates the club beyond a normal dance spot—but one with Spanish tapas-inspired food, fine cocktails, and fresh air to breathe.
The best part though is the venue’s strict no phone policy on the dance floor.
“The dance floor remains one of the rare spaces where genuine connection still thrives, unfiltered,” the club wrote in an Instagram post during its soft opening.
“It’s a place where time is meant to be experienced, not captured, and where music is meant to be felt, not recorded. Step in, let go, and keep it good for everyone.”
Tickets are on sale for this weekend’s opening here.
