The Bowery is one of the most popping neighbourhoods in NYC, there’s always something new to check out. Recently, a new bar concept just opened, featuring a rotation of pop-up restaurants. The current pop-up is one of the most popular cafe’s in Paris, Season.
You might recognise the name from various food-porn pics that influencers love to post whenever frequenting Paris… particularly those who come to visit during Fashion Week. The most widely snapped dish is probably the Pancakes de Olivier; a delicious, thick, stack of pancakes that they top with syrup/caramel, bacon and a generous dollop of ricotta cheese. If you’re a pancake fiend, make sure you check out Short Stories at 355 Bowery to enjoy Season’s brunch pop-up while it’s still around.
Available on the weekends from 11am – 4pm, the menu includes all the trendy brunch time faves we love such as, açai bowls, brioche French toast, lots of avo topped toasts, the fab pancakes and more. Check out the full menu here.
Each pop-up is intended to be a “short story” which is where the inspiration for the bar name came from. For now, the plan is to have something new each month, with the next one coming up in May. Apart from Season’s weekend brunch, Short Stories is a great place to come for a drink as the ambience is always up-beat, lively and packed with people ready to party. Decorated in millennial pink and green accents, the aesthetics are picture perfect for your instagram. More updates to come as they announce the addition of their lunch options, but for now add this spot to your list if you’re in the mood for some brunch, dinner and evening drinks.
