Crisp air, cozy sweaters, and all things gourd—fall 2026 has officially taken over the city! If you’re looking for the ultimate autumn vibe check, the Seaport’s beloved Pumpkin Arch is making its grand return this October.
Starting on October 22nd, a massive, 10-foot-tall archway built entirely from hundreds of pumpkins and fall foliage will take over the waterfront.
Framing the iconic Brooklyn Bridge perfectly, it’s basically a real-life autumn postcard waiting to happen.
And sure, it’s a total stunner in the afternoon sun, but just wait until dusk.

When the sun dips, the entire arch gets a major glow-up, lighting up the night with twinkling orange lights and turning the riverfront into a glowing Halloween wonderland. You’ll absolutely want to swing by twice to catch the day-to-night transformation!
Don’t just snap a few photos and run, though.
Once you’ve soaked in the waterfront views, stick around in the neighborhood. The Seaport will host trick-or-treating this Halloween along with weekly Halloween movie nights at Sadie’s on Wednesdays.
Then, on Thursday, October 29th, Sadie’s Garden Bar is transforming into a large “Witches Night Out,” the team’s final outdoor celebration for the season. Think: DIY witches hats, candy by Lil Sweet Treat, a DJ, tarot card readings, a Halloween movie on the large outdoor screen, cocktail cauldron, and more!
Grab your coziest sweater and head down to Pier 17, because this glowing waterfront wonderland is one NYC autumn tradition you simply can’t miss!
