New York City is a vegetarian’s paradise. Throughout the city, you’ll find vegetarian restaurants that serve every style of cuisine, from classic diner grub to high-end fine dining. This month, some of the city’s best vegetarian and vegan restaurants will come together for the annual NYC Vegetarian Food Festival.
The Vegetarian Food Festival features exhibitors who will offer samples of their vegan treats. This year, there will be vendors serving everything from vegan cupcakes to veggie sushi rolls and gourmet soy hot dogs smothered in delicious toppings. Even the biggest meat-lover in your friend group will find something they love here.
While you’re enjoying your tasty dishes, you can listen to a line-up of presenters that will discuss topics like dating as a vegan and what it’s like to be a vegan athlete. There will also be mouthwatering cooking demonstrations happening all day. These cooking demonstrations will be conducted by local vegan chefs—you’ll definitely want to test out some of their recipes at your next dinner party.
The NYC Vegetarian Food Festival will take place at the Metropolitan Pavilion on Saturday, May 20th and Sunday, May 21st. Tickets for this event cost $30 for one day or $50 for both Saturday and Sunday. You can also get VIP tickets for $75 for both days, which will get you express admission along with a goodie bag and a t-shirt. You can find out more info about this fun festival here.
