The open air cinema experts, The Rooftop Cinema Club, have brought another incredible movie line-up for a second year to NYC. After beginning their venture in London, they’ve taken over two rooftops in New York – Manhattan’s fancy pants midtown YOTEL and the trendy Bushwick area in Brooklyn. They’re putting on a fantastic and varied programme of movies – from tearjerking favorites, such as The Notebook, to all time cult classic, like Vertigo.
[Rooftop Cinema Club]The YOTEL screen, sits high above the city streets, where you can enjoy views of the city’s iconic, glittering skyline as you sit back in front of some of the best classic, cult and current movies. Urban eatery and YOTEL’s new restaurant Green Fig will also be up on the terrace, serving hungry film lovers some fantastic food and drink.
[Rooftop Cinema Club]Heading across the East River, the breathtaking views of Manhattan from the Bushwick rooftop are enough to distract you from any movie. Although there’s no licensed bar up here, you’re welcome to bring your own drinks to sip on as the tape rolls. Guests can also order food directly to their seats, choosing from the hand-selected takeaway menu from Bushwick’s favorite food vendors.
