The Arlo Hotel in SoHo just completed renovations on their rooftop bar, and have reopened it as Arlo Roof Top—just in time for summer.
As the image above shows, there will be hanging lights above the space with outdoor chairs and artwork that pays homage to the bar’s former name, Good Story. The rooftop area was previously filled with picnic benches, but now features lounge seating that can fit up to 180 people between the indoor and outdoor areas combined.
A.R.T., as it is nicknamed now, will feature drinks by Milos Zica, a bartender who used to create cocktails at Employees Only. The cocktails are a bit pricey at $18, but hey, it’s SoHo…and totally worth the views and ambience. The cocktail menu will include refreshing drinks such as Strawberry Field (with banks island rum, lime juice, strawberry puree, and cava rose), and West Side (with citrus vodka, lemon juice, mint, and soda).
The fare will be made by Harold Moore, the chef of the hotel’s ground floor restaurant Harold’s Meat + Three. Snacks will include items such as grilled jumbo wings, a mezze platter with house made naan bread, and guacamole and chips.
A.R.T. is open Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. until 12 a.m., Saturday from 12 p.m. until 2 a.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. until 12 a.m.
