reSOUND engages your sight, sound and touch in a range of immersive art installations. This convergence of the senses is so unique that words don’t do it justice!
However, let’s try! Here’s what you can expect from a visit to reSOUND…
The experience is made up of large-scale installations, featuring omnidirectional soundscapes and tactile elements, all designed by global innovators in the sensory field. So instead of just seeing a piece of art, you feel it.
There are also various workshops in collaboration with groundbreaking and internationally acclaimed artists, designers, scientists, and media experts. So beyond the permanent fixtures, there are interactive activities to please all.
What’s on at reSOUND…
The experience boasts a mesmerizing collection of installations. A few include d’strict’s OCEAN, a massive audio-visual moment that lets hyper-realistic, surging waves wash over you. Then there’s a contrast with the serene beauty of Liam Lee’s Breathing Room. It’s a tactile textile installation, whose sculpted wool fiber, inside an infinity room evokes a peaceful Japanese moss garden.
The safari of sensation continues with Eric Gunther’s Boundless Body, where visitors literally feel a poem through synchronized vibrations and narration. Then there’s Fillip Studios’ Tactile Orchestra, an interactive piece featuring soft, furry surfaces that produce orchestral sounds when stroked, letting you create your own unique symphony.

The experience is open to all ages (0-3s enter for free!) and accessible to everyone, everyday at Hero at Rockefeller Center from 11am to 7pm. Visits typically last between 30 and 60 minutes.
