While the exact Broadway theater and casting details are still under wraps, this is shaping up to be the ultimate tribute.
According to reports, original music director Tim Weil is returning to the keys. Even better, he will be joined by the full original Rent band.

This summer, the musical is also returning to the stage in a more traditional format.
EPIC Players is premiering an inspiring new production featuring a cast of neurodiverse and disabled performers, according to Playbill.
Directed by Travis Burbee, the Off-Off-Broadway show runs from June 4 to 14 at A.R.T./New York Theatres. The talented cast includes Eric Fegan as Mark, Conor Tague as Roger, Genesis Solivan as Mimi, Jocelyn Elena Stout as Maureen, Lai Williams as Joanne, Joshua Cartagena as Angel, Cameron Walker as Collins, and Hunter Hollingsworth as Benny.
