Queens Night Market is one of the city’s best food markets, and it’s now returning to Rockefeller Center.
After previous shutdowns, John Wang, founder of the Queens Night Market has decided to bring the affordable international fare back to Midtown Manhattan with the return of “The OUTPOST by Queens Night Market.” According to Rockefeller Center, the open-air market will be accessible as of May 10th, 2021 at the South Plaza at Rockefeller Center from Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Though some of the 1,000 food vendors from previous seasons won’t be back this year, the market is still sure to bring a community of fun, food fare and cuisine exploration with its 7 vendors. Whether you’re looking for savory or sweet, there’s something you’re sure to love at the market.
Some of the vendors include:
- Nansense – Afghan Mantu, Bolani & Kabuli Pulao
- Treat Yourself Jerk – Jamaican Jerk Chicken
- Parantha Alley – Indian Paranthas & Curry
- Anda Café –Taiwanese Bubble Tea
- Arepaliciousa – Colombian Arepas
- DiLena’s – Italian Panini & Arancini
- Twister Cake Bakery – Romanian Kürtőskalács (Chimney Cakes)
The Rockefeller Center fortunately offers plenty of outdoor space to safely conduct the market and continue bringing global cuisine to New Yorkers. Food vendors need support more than ever and the market is just one opportunity to help.
The OUTPOST will run through the summer season up until June 25th, 2021.
