Legendary hip-hop group Public Enemy will be bringing the noise to Brooklyn as part of NYC’s SummerStage lineup.
The 80s act – famous for hits such as Fight The Power and Don’t Believe The Hype – will play Betsy Head Park in Brownsville on June 21st.
They’ll be joining already announced bands like Cage The Elephant (sold out) and Bare Naked Ladies (tickets from $52). But this concert is going to be absolutely free, making it a huge part of the SummerStage series
SummerStage has a host of free and paid shows taking place all across New York City’s five boroughs.
Other acts set to play for free include funk group Cymande, local band Blonde Redhead and The Metropolitan Opera Summer Recital Series.
