Everyone’s favorite rom-com, Pretty Woman, is a 90’s classic that’s still often referenced in popular culture. Now, the beloved movie is hitting the stage as Pretty Woman: The Musical—and tickets are finally on sale!
“Vivian and Edward are unlikely soulmates who overcome all odds to find each other… and themselves. Experience the moments you love from the movie — and get to know these iconic characters in a whole new way — in this dazzlingly theatrical take on a love story for the ages.”
The casting was completed in December and will feature Tony Award winner Steve Kazee as Edward, and Samantha Barks as Vivian in her Broadway debut.
Pretty Woman: The Musical will be choreographed by two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell—who’s previous works include Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde, and Hairspray—and scored by Grammy winner Bryan Adams with songwriting partner Jim Vllance. The play is set to open in NYC in July. However, it will have it’s world premiere at Chicago’s Oriental Theatre on March 13, with a five-week run there.
Once in New York, the production will take place at the Nederlander Theatre! Broadway preview will begin on July 20, which you can now buy tickets to here, but opening night won’t officially be until August 16.
