The White House has recently announced new guidelines for Americans to follow in an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19.
During President Trump’s Coronavirus update earlier today, he announced that “[his] administration is recommending that all Americans, including the young and healthy, work to engage in schooling from home when possible; avoid gathering in groups of more than 10 people; avoid discretionary travel; and avoid eating and drinking at bars, restaurants, and public food courts.”
The President urges people follow these guidelines for the next 15 days.

During Trump’s press briefing he also mentions that his advisors expect this crisis to last until “July, August – something like that.” This is assuming everyone takes the proper actions to stop the spread of the novel Coronavirus now. Trump stresses that even though the situation is “bad,” “we’re going to be, hopefully, [an example of] a best case, not worst case [in comparison to other countries]. And that’s what we’re working for.”
