After three buses crashed around 6:15 am on Wednesday, July 2nd, Port Authority Bus Terminal shut down.

Port Authority Bus Accident: what happened & what to know
NJ Transit revealed the news on X, sharing alternate routes:
1/2 NJ TRANSIT bus service is suspended into and out of the NY Port Authority Bus Terminal due to a multi bus accident. NJ TRANSIT bus service traveling to and from the NY Port Authority Bus Terminal is being diverted to Secaucus Junction, NPS and Hoboken Terminal.
2/2 All trains will stop at Secaucus. NJ TRANSIT bus tickets and passes are being cross-honored by NJ TRANSIT rail, New York Waterway at Port Imperial and by PATH at Hoboken, Newark Penn Station and 33rd Street New York.
As of 12:15pm on July 2nd, service is back up and running, but commuters should expect delays. According to an announcement of the NJ Transit website, “NJ TRANSIT bus service traveling to and from the New York Port Authority Bus Terminal is subject to up to 15-minute delays following an earlier multi-bus accident at the New York Port Authority Bus Terminal.”
