The Most Popular TV show In New York Might Be A Little Too On-The-Nose

Now the walking dead are killing all of your favorite characters, Black Mirror is making us thing twice before rating people and Westworld is making us think twice before kicking our busted vacuum cleaner, it’s safe to say, TV season is safely upon us. As the weather worsens more and more New Yorkers will choose a little “Netflix and Chill” over braving the unpredictable weather.

Recently, CableTV.com conducted some research to see which shows are popular in each state. By checking the top 200 shows on IMDb then cross-referencing that information with Google Trends for the most statistically meaningful show per-state in the last year, they created a definitive list of the most popular TV shows in each US state. New York? Well, possibly the most on-the-nose entry in the list, OUr favorite TV show is Gotham. We must be missing something, because we don’t hear anyone talking about that show.
