Along with it already being Thanksgiving week, the unveiling of Macy’s holiday windows is a telltale sign that the festive season is in full swing–and now they’ve officially been unveiled!
One of the key parts of the holidays in NYC is the fabulously festive window displays. The iconic Macy’s Herald Square flagship worked hard to get decked out for the season, and they were officially unveiled on Thursday, November 16th.
Last year, Macy’s decided to have the displays “celebrate togetherness and festive nostalgia with [their] favorite reindeer, Tiptoe, as she visits her woodland friends to spread holiday magic and cheer.”
And this year we can once again follow the journey of the beloved Tiptoe through the theme “Give Love.” Throughout the window displays Tiptoe can be seen with her friend and her favorite holiday themes, so each window represents something that they love to do together.
Each window display highlights its own world, made with festive materials such as wrapping paper, champagne glasses, a toy workshop, and a three-dimensional camera!
And, as always, Tiptoe can also be seen right at the storefront!
Macy’s holiday windows were unveiled on Thursday, November 16th at Macy’s Herald Square (34th Street).
They expect to see at least 10,000 visitors to the windows each day, with even more visiting the store. The festive windows will be on display through January 1, 2024.
And while you’re at it, be sure to travel to the North Pole at Macy’s Santaland!
The interactive experience is a holiday tradition that transforms the Herald Square store into a winter wonderland (think like in the movie Elf!).
Plus, don’t forget to make your reservations at all of NYC’s magical holiday pop-up bars!
Happy holidays!
