The quaint Bed-Stuy restaurant, owned by a Pakistani/South African couple, specializes in various types of grilled meat with their very own special peri peri sauce. Inspired by Nando’s own original recipe, the two decided to bring the heat right here to NYC just last year. For those of you who haven’t tried a cheeky Nando’s… let’s just say the chicken is bomb. If you like grilled, juicy, buttery chicken with a little spicy kick to it, you’ll absolutely love Peri Peri Grill House. The restaurant has managed to garner a loyal customer base, evident by the classic long lines found outside the door.
Common favorites on the menu seem to be: the char-grilled lamchomps, mac and cheese (duh…they use smokey cheese), peri peri fries (the seasoning is divine), and of course the famous chicken!
