Help! We need somebody to get us tickets to the Paul McCartney Bowery show!
The Beatle oh-so casually announced on Instagram that he was en route downtown to the Bowery Ballroom on February 11th for an impromptu 6:30pm show. And guess what? He had so much fun belting out those classics that he decided to return tonight, February 12th, at the same time. (Doors open at 5pm.)
If you’ve been one to revel in Beatlemania, this intimate performance is a mind-blowing concept. (Just so you know, recording was prohibited at last night’s show.)
Physical $50 tickets were distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis, and naturally, have sold out — just like they did yesterday. However, there’s no telling what might happen later this evening. So if you’re in the area and want to try your luck, perhaps someone will no longer be able to attend the show. (We can’t make any guarantees, but we could only hope on your behalf.)
Judging from Instagram comments, fans seem to suspect that McCartney has something up its sleeve. Perhaps a new album? Maybe another cool museum exhibit? Who knows!
On a final note, there’s an important reminder circulating from the music venue: Tickets for this event are PHYSICAL only. If someone sends you a digital ticket, it is a fake. Signs of a fake physical ticket include spelling mistakes, missing a Ticketmaster logo or watermark, or coloring that is not blue and white.
For those lucky enough to jump in on the fun: enjoy! Sing along to “A Hard Day’s Night” for us!
