NYC is home to the second best bar in the world, and this weekend, for one night only, the city will also play host to the fourth best bar in the world!
The experiential Barcelona-based cocktail bar Paradiso is heading to NYC’s bustling bar scene, popping up at the Lobby Bar, located within The New York EDITION, one of Manhattan’s most beloved hotels featuring cozy corners, slated ceilings, and tasteful design elements.
A team of mixologists including Federico Lombardi, Paulo Mereghetti, and Margarita Sader led by Giacomo Giannotti will take over the casual, yet elegant space for a one-night-only occurrence, slinging cocktails such as the Subterranium, featuring Goat’s Milk Altamura vodka, apple cordial celeriac and radish, toasted hay liquer, citrus, olive, orange, and thyme honey, and the Enigma, made with Altamura Vodka with pine cone, cider and red fruit cordial, mead with mugo pine, citrus, and agave honey.
In addition to the cocktails, a number of small bites from The Lobby Bar will also be offered.
Nestled behind a discreet refrigerator door within a pastrami shop, Paradiso first debuted in Barcelona nearly ten years ago. The hidden speakeasy-style watering hole exudes vintage charm and has an irresistible ambiance.
Paradiso was named the world’s best bar in 2022 and currently holds the #4 spot.
Hans Sumigcay, Director of Bars at The New York EDITION, stated:
We are thrilled to partner with Giacomo and the Paradiso team to bring their unrivaled and inventive point of view to the discerning patrons of The New York EDITION. The opportunity to stand side-by-side and bring a one-of-a-kind and collaborative mixology experience to the vibrant city of Manhattan is an exciting privilege.
The one-night-only event will take place at The Lobby Bar at The New York EDITION on Saturday, April 13th, from 7 pm to 11 pm.
