The Oura Pawn Shop is a playful nod to one of the most common criticisms of wearable technology: its size. With the new Oura Ring 5, the company is highlighting a design that is significantly smaller and slimmer than previous generations, aiming to deliver health tracking in a more discreet form.
To showcase this, the pop-up is inspired by New York City’s eclectic pawn shop culture. But instead of buying and selling jewelry, visitors will have the chance to “flip” for a shot at winning the brand’s newest smart ring, bringing together wellness tech, streetwise NYC culture, and a little bit of old-school luck.
Bringing the authentic spirit of Midtown to SoHo, the activation will be hosted by Moses the Jeweler. Visitors can participate in Moses’ signature, high-stakes coin flip. If the coin lands in your favor, you walk away with a brand-new Oura Ring 5.
