One World Observatory is bringing a Christmas extravaganza 1,250-feet above the city streets that will melt even the most Scrooge-like heart.
With many of the city’s best Christmas trees already lit up and most of the NYC’s winter markets already in full swing, One World Observatory is getting in on the holiday action in their own way.
High above the streets of New York City, atop the iconic One World Trade Center, Winter ONEderland: A Holiday Experience Above It All is ringing in the holiday season.
The multi-media experience is a family-friendly holiday transformation that features stunning views and various installations. Santa will stop by on December 10 to take photos with young fans, but there will be other holiday-themed activities, too. Winter ONEderland will have interactive installations like the One World of Wonders (where you go on a journey with mascot Ollie the Owl past all the woders of the world), a Glacier Cave (an underground winter grotto with crystals and icicles), a Snowy Skypod Journey (a wintery snowfall as you ride in the fastest elevators in the Western Hemisphere), a Giant Snow Glow, and photos in Santa’s Sleigh.
There will also be wines and local beers offered at ONE Mix and Dine, in addition to their seasonal hand-crafted cocktails like the ONEderlnad Eggnog. The fare at the restaurant will also reflect a holiday-inspired menu.
Winter ONEderland will run from now until January 7.
