The 23-year-old singer-songwriter was spotted filming what appears to be a brand-new music video on Tuesday, May 26. She was accompanied by several ballet dancers while shooting in the streets of uptown New York City.

Dropping “The Cure” and hosting an intimate Q&A
Just a few days prior, Olivia dropped the music video for “The Cure.” This track is a featured single on her highly anticipated third studio album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love.
She also stepped out for a special screening and intimate Q&A at The Metrograph on Thursday, May 22.
Fans were seen lining up around the block just for a chance to get inside the NYC theater. Once inside, they were treated to Olivia-inspired cocktails and light bites.
The meaning behind the music
Olivia recently opened up about the deeply personal meaning behind her new song.
“This song is the thesis statement of you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love and it made the whole album click for me,” she shared with fans online. “I hope you enjoy it.”
She also spoke to iHeartRadio about the track, calling “The Cure” her favorite song on the album and the true climax of the record.

“It’s kind of like the climax of the record,” she explained. “It’s just sort of about how, when you’re younger, you think falling in love with someone will fix all of your problems. And then I think when you face love in reality, you realize that that’s not the truth.”
She added that the song is about coming to terms with the parts of herself she wanted to fix. “I thought that love would solve [them]. And lo and behold, it didn’t. So I wrote a song about it.”
