Legendary English rock band Oasis are reconciling their differences some 15 years later, after announcing a massive reunion tour set to the United Kingdom and Ireland in 2025.
Back in 2009, brothers and duo Liam and Noel Gallagher infamously broke the band apart due to “verbal and violent intimidation” between the pair. The long-standing feud has been happening ever since, as both decided to split into their own solo career paths.
Now, they’ve announced that they’ve put aside their differences…and are reuniting the band all across the world, starting in Europe. The band will be playing shows in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin…which was just announced days ago.
“This is it, this is happening”

But will Oasis be coming to the U.S., and more importantly, to New York City?
Well…according to a press release, “Plans are underway for OASIS LIVE ’25 to go to other continents outside of Europe later next year.” At the moment, no dates are confirmed for any NYC shows, but a photo was leaked hinting that the band might pass through New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium on August 30, 2025.
Other North American cities on the leaked document include Toronto, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, and Mexico City. The U.K. and Ireland performances on the document turned out to be accurate, but no word yet on whether these cities and dates are.
Stay tuned for more info as we await news on Oasis’ return across the pond. 👀
