NYCxDesign is back and better than ever with a jam packed schedule filled with exhibitions, installations, panels, open studios and more. With events taking place all over the city, we’ve included a few exhibits below that you absolutely have to check out:
Fernando Mastrangelo
A tiny house built from sand and recycled glass in an effort to promote sustainability, found in the middle of Times Square. On till May 22nd.

Ecocapsule
A little peek inside a minimal, self-sustainable, beautiful micro-home.
Location: W 47th St & Broadway
Chairousel
The creative chairs shown on the chairousel were designed by the students at the SVA Interior Design School.
Location: Times Square
Jonald Dudd
An exhibition showcasing conceptual works that challenge the conventions of contemporary design. The opening reception is this Friday (May 17th) from 6:30-9:30pm, will then be available for viewing till the 20th, 12:30-7pm.

Inside/Out @ William Vale
A collaborative effort from Kinandcompany and Asapingree to produce a bespoke installation that focuses on outdoor furniture. Items can be found for sale!
An Accelerated Culture is an exhibit that uses key themes that represent Generation X and starts tomorrow from 4-5:30pm. Make sure to RSVP if you would like a guided walk-through: rsvp@friedmanbenda.com.
