Now you can dine with an A-Lister!
As indoor dining returns to NYC and welcomes guests at 35% capacity beginning today, family-owned restaurant Peter Luger found a way to fill their empty seats: with famous wax figurines!
The historic restaurant has partnered with the notorious Madame Tussauds to bring iconic figures like Audrey Hepburn, Jimmy Fallon, Jon Hamm, and Al Roker into the restaurant’s indoor dining space.
The steakhouse has created an unforgettable experience while following proper safety measures for socially distanced dining.
Al Roker will direct you to the second floor and from there you can sit with Jimmy Fallon and Michael Strahan, gossip with Audrey Hepburn at a table, or find Jon Hamm at the bar while you order a drink.
Even Fallon himself came to the restaurant and dined with…well, himself!
“We’re excited to welcome diners back indoors at 35%, and thought this would be a fun, safe way to fill some of the seats that need to remain empty as we continue to fight the pandemic. It has been wonderful working with the fabulous team at Madame Tussaud’s New York” said Vice President of Peter Luger, Daniel Turtel. “The restaurant industry is vital to New York City’s economy, and it’s been particularly hard hit this past year.”
Restaurants across New York have been facing much struggle to stay afloat, and Peter Luger’s delightful approach to keep New Yorkers dining safely speaks to the city’s resilience!
The wax figures will remain up until March 1, so make sure to stop in before they’re gone! You can make your reservations here and even check out more of your favorite wax figurines at the reopened Madame Tussands New York .
