NYC Will Now Pay You $100 To Get The COVID-19 Vaccine

Get $100 richer starting this Friday!

In an effort to encourage New Yorkers to get vaccinated, the city continues to do their part to incentivize people. From free desserts to free baseball tickets, we’ve practically seen it all. But, there’s now even more of a reason to get vaccinated beyond safety and free food—now you can get paid for it!

Starting Friday, July 30th, Mayor Bill de Blasio just announced that those who get their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at a city run site will receive $100.

Individuals can get their $100 pre-paid debit card by visiting here starting July 30th. An email will be sent after your first dose with further instructions to redeem your money.

According to New York State, a little over 1 million New Yorkers are already fully vaccinated. This cash incentive is meant to increase this number and ensure that the city continues to stay safe.

Make your vaccine appointment today.

And don’t worry, if you’re already one of the million vaccinated, there’s still a ton you can take advantage of.
