After Central Park saw at least three inches of snowfall on Saturday night, New Yorkers are in for even more flurries with a series of snow storms in this week’s forecast.
The National Weather Service expects the first snow of the week to fall tomorrow evening (Tuesday, February 11th) through Wednesday morning. JFK is estimated to receive anywhere from one to two inches of snow.
However, Storm Team 4 believes NYC will see even less snowfall between Tuesday to Wednesday, not surpassing an inch.
Continuing on, AccuWeather declares periods of snow and sleet for Wednesday night that will most likely be washed away by rain to follow.
Alas, it seems Mother Nature and Cupid have been communicating because by Friday, the Valentine’s Day forecast is looking like no precipitation, just cloudy skies.
Snow is expected to return, yet again, come Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, for those planning to attend Chinatown’s Lunar New Year Parade this Sunday, be weary of possible showers. Yet, at least you can escape the rain by grabbing a bite at some of the tastiest restaurants in Chinatown.
Of course, all of the forecasts are never guaranteed and may change as the week carries on. Stay warm and dry, NYC!
