Since restaurants can now serve only takeout and to-go options, some NYC eateries are getting a bit more creative with how they sell their goods.
While many are of course serving the same menus, just in Tupperware and paper bags, others are utilizing their extra ingredients in other ways.
Here are restaurants offering meal kits and/or cookware to you can make the freshest food as possible while at home.
1. The Butcher’s Daughter
Health food spot The Butcher’s Daughter just launched these charming “Butcher’s Bodega Boxes,” with all different selections from everything you need for a week of gluten-free to dinners to farmer’s market kits. They also offer pints and quarts of homemade soup and smoothie making kits. Order from their website here or call your nearest location.

2. I Trulli
This high-end Italian dining hotspot has an ever-changing menu of family-style meal offerings, plus frozen pasta kits from Nonna Dora (which they’re now also shipping nationwide). Order online or call (212)481-7372.

3. Brodo
If you caught onto the broth trend a little while back, you probably know about Brodo, the bone broth specialist in NYC. Well now they are making some additions to the broth, with DIY soup kits available for delivery and pickup from their NYC locations! See your options and order them online here. They are also sharing recipes on their blog so you can try to make it yourself at home.

4. Bund on Broadway
Along with normal takeout orders, Bund is hand making fresh dumplings and other appetizers everyday and then flash-freezing them so you can have your house stocked full of a delicious variety of bites.

5. Beyond Sushi
Beyond Sushi, which serves vegan sushi (yes, you read that right!) is now offering a “Stay at Home” menu with both family-style and individual meals. All you need is a stove. Options include Kofta kabobs on a bed of roasted onions with broccoli and herbed quinoa, Lemon grilled seitan with green peas and caramelized onion mashed potatoes, Stuffed artichoke with celery root purée and grilled green squash, Grilled chipotle seitan with roasted butternut squash and beluga lentils, just to name a few.

6. Taste of Persia
The owner of this Flatiron favorite is hand making and delivering meals to New Yorkers all over; all you have to do is fill out this Google form. He updates it when he is full on orders for the week and announces them weekly on social media channels.

7. Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao

8. Mo’s Original
All about these DIY Ramen Kits! Mo’s Original has many choices for meal kits including rice and peas, rubbed jerk chicken, marinated tofu, and ready-to-cook-and-assemble ramen. Keep up to date on their website: they only have pickups on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and you have to order by 12pm the day before.
