NYers’ beloved Restaurant Week has officially returned for its winter iteration, running Tuesday, January 21st to Sunday, February 9th, 2025.
If you’re unfamiliar with this bi-annual tradition, it was created back in 1992 to celebrate NYC’s dining scene by offering prix fixe menus to some of the city’s most established restaurants and neighborhood favorites–and yes, it’s longer than just one week!
Eager eaters can sample some of NYC’s top restaurants at incredible lunch and dinner rates. This year, nearly 600 restaurants across all five boroughs are participating in Restaurant Week, offering deals during meal periods of their choosing (2-course lunch, 3-course dinner, or both).
This winter there will once again be a trio of pricing options, including $30, $45, and $60. Their website notes that this pricing structure enables more restaurants to participate in Restaurant Week and provides varying dining options and more available reservations for customers.
Most restaurants run their deals Monday-Friday, as Saturday is excluded from the program and Sunday participation is decided upon by the restaurants.
Tips for Restaurant Week as outlined by their website:
- Score a top table
- Plan ahead
- Know before you go
- Explore new cuisines
- Drink it all in
- Let Instagram be your guide
Similar to years prior, those with a preregistered Mastercard will receive $10 back for in-house dining transactions of $45 or more.
Reservations are officially open! Make yours today.
