According to a study done by Travelbag, New York has been crowned the second prettiest US city to visit during fall, with over 24,000 hashtags on Instagram!
Travelbag has analyzed Instagram and TikTok hashtag data for 100 cities, revealing which locations offer the most picturesque scenes for your next social media post.
New York, Chicago, and Seattle were voted the top three prettiest cities to visit in the US this fall, with over 78,000 people hashtagging these destinations on Instagram.
The Northeast is known for its crisp weather and beautiful foliage, as the leaves turn to hues of scarlet red, burnt orange, and golden yellow. So it’s no surprise that several cities in this part of the country make out the top three US cities to visit during autumn.
Beating New York for the top two spots in the ranking are our friends over in London and Paris, respectively. After ranking as the most popular spring and summertime destination, London has also taken the top spot for the most Instagrammable city in autumn, with 84,113 posts tagged #AutumninLondon.
Paris comes in as the second most Instagrammable destination with 64,925 hashtags, followed by New York (37,466), Chicago (24,567), and Melbourne (22,378).
