Youth Development Specialists begin with a starting salary of $55,075, with annual increases that can bring pay to $69,762 after five years.

Applicants must meet one of the following qualifications:
- Have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least one year of full-time experience working with at-risk youth or adults, or
- Hold a bachelor’s degree.
