Staying in town at least until Thursday morning? Need to let go of some nervous energy before you spend a day with your family? Here are five awesome things you can do on Thanksgiving Eve:

1. Open Vodka Bar at Up&Down

Up&Down is one of the most exciting clubs in the city, and they’re hosting a Thanksgiving Eve party to remember. Buy your ticket on the Fever app and you’ll have access to an open vodka bar from 10 to 11pm.

2. NightGlow party at Stage 48

This party will feature musical talents such as LOUDPVCK and A$AP Ferg, and will provide plenty of glow sticks to get your rave on. You can get a ticket for the exclusive price of $40 on Fever.

3. Garage Land at Good Room

If you’re looking for something less pricey, check out Garage Land at Good Room, where the cover will only be $6. Garage Land is a weekly series of local and international live rock, garage, punk, DJs, and underground talent. This Wednesday’s acts include Sun Abduction, Dirty Blondes and Slump.

4. Moroccan Thanksgiving at Katra Lounge

Maybe you want to try celebrating Thanksgiving in a completely new way, in which case you should check out Katra Lounge, which is having a Moroccan-themed Thanksgiving Eve party. Enjoy DJs, hookah, and cocktails with Middle Eastern flavors. The best party? No cover!

5. Thanksgiving Parade Balloon Inflation

If you just want to do something mellow on Thanksgiving Eve, go down to the Museum of Natural History to watch the parade balloons inflate. Be sure to arrive early to grab a spot.
