The weather is finally starting to warm up and New Yorkers are already plotting their summer escapes from the city.
We are officially entering outdoor concert season, which means trading crowded indoor arenas for sprawling stadium seating and starry skies.
While the city itself has plenty of great venues, there is an undeniable magic to catching a live show with the salty ocean breeze in your hair.
Located less than an hour from Manhattan, the iconic Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater is set to return yet again for summer 2026, landmarking it as one of the Tri-State area’s best venues.
The 15,000 capacity venue continues to rank among the most beautiful outdoor amphitheaters in the entire country, and it’s proving to be a rite of passage again this year.

A bucket list waterfront music experience
The architecture of the venue is nothing short of spectacular.
The stage is actually built directly over the water of Zachs Bay.
It gives you sweeping panoramic views and a totally unmatched, breezy atmosphere that you simply cannot find anywhere in the five boroughs.
Between the historic tailgating scene in the parking lots, the sandy boardwalk strolls before the show, and the incredible coastal acoustics, it is the perfect concert day (night!) trip.
