They’re Back! Northside Festival Brings Music, Innovation, and Art to NYC Next Week

Northside Festival hits the city hard next week with over 100,000 creative and cultural trendsetters, this year’s festival is going down in history, and we have the lowdown.

For five days every June, over 10,000 creative and cultural trendsetters converge in Brooklyn to uncover the future of music, innovation, and up-and-coming talent.

Now in its 10th year, with over 300 bands and more than 200 speakers coming together across countless venues, Northside Festival is the place people go to say “I saw it here first.” In celebration of their 10-year anniversary, Northside Music is taking an exciting new route with a festival-capping boat cruise on the East River with performances from hometown heroes Parquet Courts and Ethiopian jazz legend Hailu Mergia in collaboration with PopGun Presents.

From June 6th through the 10th, North Brooklyn is transformed into a festival unlike anything you’ve ever experienced. As opposed to a traditional festival or conference where events take place in one or two locations, Northside spans across Williamsburg, Greenpoint, and Bushwick, encompassing a constellation of venues – small clubs, epic outdoor spaces, boutique hotels, local movie theaters and more. A single day might include discovering your new favorite artist, the next big startup, or the most inspiring digital content you’ve seen all year.
