The Michelangelo: Divine Draftsman & Designer exhibition may have opened at the MET back in November, but it took until January for another Michelangelo to catch wind of it and make an appearance—the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.
Last Thursday, the museum welcomed TMNT Michelangelo to explore the exhibition of the artist in which he’s named after. The appearance was an adorable way of promoting the last few week’s of the exhibit’s run, which ends on February 12.
The event was a perfect photo opp considering the TMNT are family travel ambassadors for NYC & Company.
This morning we welcomed Michelangelo, one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (@TMNT) at The Met. Our celebrity guest came to see the work of an artist who happens to share his name. https://t.co/jUPJhto7Xr #MetMichelangelo pic.twitter.com/YS7T5xZv9a
