The New York City Veterans Day Parade — the largest event of its kind in the entire country, including our nation’s capital — returns on Tuesday, November 11th.
This fall, 20,000+ marchers will congregate along Fifth Avenue to honor those who served, as well as mark the 250th anniversary of the US military.
The United War Veterans Council (UWVC), the non-profit responsible for the commemoration, has chosen former SSG and Medal of Honor recipient Clinton Romesha, Marine veteran and homeless veterans’ advocate Stephen Peck, and NASA Astronaut and retired U.S. Navy Captain Sunita “Suni” Williams as the 2025 grand marshals.
Mark Otto, president and executive director of the United War Veterans Council and U.S. Marine Corps veteran said, “As we get ready to mark 250 years of Army, Marine Corps and Navy service, we are thrilled to have Clint, Stephen, and Suni lead this year’s Parade and join us for the nation’s largest commemoration of service in New York this November.”
If you want to join in, we’ll tell you what you need to know.
