Pilates girlies, clear your schedules. A multimillion-dollar mega studio is landing in a vintage NYC townhouse this spring, and it’s set to be the largest pilates studio in the entire country. Reforming Pilates is opening RP Townhouse on West 17th Street–a three-story fitness palace complete with high-end amenities all housed within a one-of-a-kind vintage carriage house. It’s giving townhouse chic meets luxury sweat, and honestly, we wouldn’t expect anything less.
If your hot girl walk needed an upgrade, or your go-to reformers class just isn’t cutting it anymore, consider this your sign.
A sprawling 7,000+ square foot Pilates townhouse
Spread across three stories, RP Townhouse is Reforming Pilates’ most ambitious location to date. Co-founder Daniel Ross says the brand has always been about “going big or going home,” and the space reflects exactly that energy. Inside, the studio will feature:
- Two reformer studios
- One heated mat studio
- A crystal-lined private studio…because of course NYC would have one of those

Members can also expect glossy spa-level amenities, top-tier showers and locker rooms, state-of-the-art Balanced Body reformers, and an area reserved for a beloved food brand set to open onsite. An expanded class schedule will run throughout the day, offering a wide range of sessions for every level.
Basically: your core is about to train in serious style.
A more refined boutique Pilates experience
Unlike the high-capacity model seen at Ross’ other popular studio locations, RP Townhouse is designed to feel elevated and intentionally boutique. Co-founder Genevieve Ross describes the project as a constant push toward something more refined:
Luxury boutique fitness has always been our foundation. Every project just becomes more elevated, more intentional and better. We’re constantly pushing the envelope, whether that’s for design, space, experience or all three, because we’re always striving to be better than the last.

RP Townhouse will open at 109 W 17th Street this spring, bringing a new level of luxury Pilates to Manhattan–and raising the bar for boutique fitness in NYC.
