The MTA has announced schedule changes taking effect this Monday, and knowing what’s ahead can help you plan your travels smoothly.
Here’s everything you need to know about the new schedules so you can make the most of your long weekend without any unexpected delays.

🚇 Subway And Buses
- All subway lines and the Staten Island Railway will operate on a Saturday schedule
- Planned service changes on several lines are expected
- Most local and express buses in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and the Bronx will run on a Saturday schedule
- Most Staten Island buses will run on a reduced weekday schedule
- Check the MTA app or website for real-time updates and trip planning
🚆 Long Island Rail Road (LIRR)
- LIRR will operate on a Sunday schedule
- Off-peak fares will be in effect all day

🚂 Metro-North Railroad
East of Hudson:
- Hudson, Harlem, and New Haven lines operate on a Saturday schedule
- Port Jervis Line: weekend service with three additional trains
- Pascack Valley Line: normal weekend schedule
West of Hudson:
- Temporary trackwork schedule takes effect Sunday, Feb. 15
- Several trains between Penn Station NY and Secaucus Junction depart earlier than usual on Monday

- Hudson Rail Link buses at Spuyten Duyvil and Riverdale
