Created by and starring comedian Michael Cruz Kayne, host of A Good Cry podcast and a writer for “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” this comedic play takes an uproarious look at life, profound loss, and the importance of talking about grief – without the usual platitudes. Previews begin April 28, with opening night set for May 8.
It all began with a single tweet. After dealing with a personal loss, Kayne took to social media to share his story. To his surprise, over 200,000 messages of responses and support came back to him. This is how Sorry For Your Loss was born.
The play will run at the Minetta Lane Theatre located between MacDougal & 6th Avenue. Audible Theater will release Sorry For Your Loss exclusively on Audible, delivering the theater experience to millions of listeners around the world. Audible members will have access to a discount, tickets start at $55.00.
Tune into this play featuring the Peabody Award-winning writer in this six-week limited engagement from April 28 through June 4 only. Visit the Sorry For Your Loss website for more information and tickets.
