Owners of the Italian South Florida restaurant Via Emilia 9 plan on opening a sister restaurant in Tribeca.
According to the Miami Herald, the new restaurant will “be called Nonna Beppa, in honor of the grandmother who taught [chef Giancarlo Cacciatori] to cook.”

The NYC staff will be trained in Miami, but the owners (Cacciatori and his wife) will go back and forth between both locations. They plan to open the Tribeca restaurant sometime in the spring!

Although not much has been released of the new space, we can only imagine there’ll be a pasta-making station (as there is in Miami) where people can watch the making of fresh pasta unfold.
