Electric Zoo, NYC’s iconic electronic music festival is set to return this Labor Day weekend for its 14th rendition. With its highly anticipated Hyperspace theme raring to go, this year’s lineup will bring in some of dance music’s largest names including The Chainsmokers, Major Lazer, Tiesto, Zedd, John Summit, Dom Dolla, Sam Divine, Alison Wonderland, The Blessed Madonna, and more.
What’s also brand new to the festival this year is an all-new festival stage that vows to be a “festival within festival” called MegaMirage. Complete with curated lineups each day, the brand new stage will be located on a secluded part of the expanded festival grounds… so unique that it will have its own dedicated entrances and exits – without the need for a second ticket!
Michael Julian, the festival’s Chief of Marketing, tells Secret NYC that he expects the new intimate house and techno stage to be “an unparalleled celebration in the heart of New York City.”
With a few of MegaMirage’s lineups already released, we’re exclusively happy to announce the worldwide debut of MEGAFOX, a full on stage takeover curated by Cityfox and Gray Area.
Cityfox, known for their enthralling events and unforgettable moments at iconic venues such as The Brooklyn Mirage, team up with Gray Area, who curate events to “unite people on the dancefloor” through the blending of sub-genres and sub-cultures. The two together have teamed up to organize a sonic adventure that will transcend the typical festival experience.
Powerhouse duo Camelphat are set to headline the MEGAFOX lineup, sharing with SNYC that “[We] can’t wait to come back to New York… it’s a special place for us and even more special that we are playing on the Cityfox stage at Electric Zoo.”
Plus, MEGAFOX will offer fans a chance to catch rare US live sets from globally renowned artists like Stephan Bodzin, Matador, and Recondite, who says “It is always a great opportunity to explore the gray area between techno, underground and EDM. I’m happy to be part of [it].”
Check out the full lineup below, including even more melodic techno artists set to hit the stage like Massano, Skream, Francis Mercier, and more!
Additional curated MegaMirage stages are still being rolled out in anticipation of its inaugural go-around this September.
The festival debut of Chris Lake & FISHER’s explosive brand “Under Construction” has already been announced, which is set to feature a special B2B of the two, alongside emerging tech-house hitters. Plus, fans can expect the world debut of “Everything Always” by John Summit & Dom Dolla, Liquid Stranger presents: Wakaan Takeover, Nora En Pure’s ‘Purified’ Stage, and the inaugural LGBTQ stage Dreamland, presented by Jake Resnicow.
