If you grew up rocking out to Linkin Park back in the ’90s and early aughts, and are still enjoying their jams with new lead singer Emily Armstrong, this Saturday is your chance to relive those iconic days–with pizza! Greenpoint’s Paulie Gee’s Slice Shop is hosting a special one-day event celebrating the legendary band this weekend on Saturday, August 2nd.
Visitors will feel as if they’ve stepped into a time capsule at 110 Franklin Street, where they can score exclusive merch that’ll take you right back to your high school days.
The first 200 guests will even get a free slice of Paulie Gee’s famous pizza, perfect fuel for when you get into that (friendly) argument over which Linkin Park jam is the best. (“Somewhere I Belong”) Plus, enjoy $5 Lagunitas draft beers as you soak in the vibe.
While the Linkin Park team cannot confirm if the band will be joining the celebration, this nostalgic meet-and-greet is a rare chance to connect with a group that shaped a generation’s soundtrack.
Paulie Gee’s manager Ray told Greenpointers, “We are excited, it’s going to be a great event for the community,” so whether you’re a longtime fan or just curious, don’t miss this blast from the past.
